Barents Road International Organisation launches photography competition for all the residents and visitors of the Barents Road region. We are looking for the photos that illustrate lifestyle, nature and landscapes of the Barents Road region.
Do you live, work or visiting Barents Road region? Do you like to take pictures? Enter the photo contest by 31 of August 2021. 10 best pictures will be shown in the Barents Road International Organisation on-line photo exhibition through digital channels. The author of the best photo will be awarded with a memorable souvenir from Barents Road Secretariat. Help us to show the world all the beauty of our region.
Contest instructions
This contest is intended for everyone who likes to take pictures and who live, stay or work in Barents Road region. You may submit up to 2 photographs. Send your photos by 31 of August to nataliia.hammarberg@lulea.se using “#MyBarentsRoad” in the subject line of the email. All submitted photos must be in .jpg format. 10 pictures chosen for exhibition and the author of the best picture according to the jury´s choice will be notified by 15 of September.
Reward
10 best pictures will be shown in the Barents Road International Organisation on-line photo exhibition through digital channels. The author of the best photo will be awarded with a memorable souvenir from Barents Road Secretariat.
Jury and judging
The contest will be judged by the Barents Road International Organisation Working Group with the representatives from all four Barents Road countries, namely Sweden, Finland, Norway and Russia. Any decision that the jury makes is final. They have the right to reject photos due to low quality, late submission, offensive content or breaking the contest rules.

Photographers retain full copyrights to their submitted photographs.
By submitting photos to the contest, entrants allow the Barents Road International Organisation a world-wide, royalty-free and non-exclusive right and license to use, copy, adapt, transmit, communicate, publicly displace and create compilations and derivative works from any submitted photographs. In addition, entrants grant the Barents Road International Organisation the right to deposit the photographs in their archives for safekeeping and to use the photographs for their own non-commercial use. Photographers will always be credited by name when their photo is used in any context.
